Journal of Counseling & Development—The flagship journal of the American Counseling Association, it publishes practice, theory, and research articles across many different specialty areas and work settings. Sections include practice, research, assessment and diagnosis, trends, and practitioner profiles.
The Career Development Quarterly—The official journal of the National Career Development Association (NCDA), a division of the ACA, it contains articles on career counseling and development, work, leisure, career education, and coaching and management.
Counseling and Values—The official journal of the Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling (ASERVIC), a division of the ACA, promotes theory, research, and intellectual inquiry into the spiritual, ethical, religious, and values domains of counseling.
Counselor Education and Supervision—The official publication of the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES), a division of the ACA, it publishes articles on research, theory development, and program applications with essential information for the preparation and supervision of counselors in various settings.
Professional School Counseling—This journal by ASCA offers techniques, materials, and ideas to assist school counselors and related practitioners at all levels in their professional development are explored. The journal's foci strengthen the bonds among school counselors and help maintain a shared awareness of the roles, problems, and progress of school counseling across various settings and levels.
Journal of Mental Health Counseling—The official journal of AMHCA, it is devoted to traditional data-based research and addresses concerns of mental health counselors in private practice, community agencies, business and industry, and rehabilitation who deal with issues such as family counseling and substance abuse.
