Drinko Center for Undergraduate Research

Getting Started in Research

If you're interested in learning how you can start a research project at Westminster, the Drinko Center is here to help! This fall we're holding the several events to help you learn about what undergraduate research looks like at Westminster:

  • The 2024 Drinko Summer Scholars are presenting at the Professional Networking Symposium! These students will talk about their experience doing research on campus over the summer in two PNS Sessions:
    • Drinko Summer Scholars in non-STEM Fields: 11 AM in Patterson 205
    • Drinko Summer Scholars in non-STEM Fields: 11:45 AM in Patterson 205
  • The next week, Dr. Lackey and Dean Resendes and other faculty around campus are holding a workshop to talk to you about how to find research topics, how to start working on the project, why you should do undergraduate research, and what research careers in different fields might look like. This session is on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024 at 12:45 AM in the HUB.
