The McGill Librarians are excited to work with you to provide information literacy instruction and research assistance for any and all of your courses. Here is what we can currently offer:

  • In-Person Instruction 
  • Virtual Instruction via Zoom (with or without an accompanying D2L module)
  • Pre-recorded videos or pre-created LibGuides for your course or for a specific assignment
  • One-on-One research assistance, in-person or virtual via Zoom or Teams.

Off-Campus Access

All of the library's online resources are available from both on- and off-campus locations.

NOTE: When you are using the web site from off-campus, you will be prompted to enter your Westminster College user name and password

Should you encounter any difficulties with access to our online resources, whether on- or off-campus, please contact John Garrison.

Scheduling a Room

Most library rooms are now available via the online campus room reservation system, AdAstra.

The following rooms can now be reserved:

1st Floor:

  • Williamson Room: Children & Young Adult Collection
  • Robinson Room: 20 person maximum, includes Whiteboard
  • Little Lab: 9 computer stations
  • The Hub: Multiple set-ups possible, collaborative study tables, 30 laptops available for reservation

2nd Floor – Study Rooms:

  • 202 (10 person maximum) has a Whiteboard
  • 203 (8 person maximum) has a  Whiteboard
  • 204 (4 person maximum) has a Whiteboard
  • 205 (6 person maximum) has a Whiteboard
  • 208 (4 person maximum) has a Whiteboard; no door

 3rd floor:

  • Miller Room (25 person maximum) has a projection screen
